The first "One Plus One - Macau and Overseas Artists Exchanged Exhibition” organised by the Art For All Society (AFA) will be held at the zapbeijing Gallery at 4:30 pm on October 9 in Beijing. The "One Plus One" project aims to strengthen the creative and artistic exchanges between Macau and overseas artists and expand the local and overseas art exchange platform. Every two years, the AFA will select a representative artist from Macau and an overseas artist or artists group to collaborate (such as the Mainland or Hong Kong or abroad) in a joint exhibition in a local gallery. And then the following year, the two selected artists will hold another joint exhibition based in Macau. For the first “One Plus One”, Leong Fei In is representing the AFA, and Zhang Xinjun is representing Beijing. Through this project, the AFA hopes to bring more external stimulus to Macau artists, providing them an opportunity to get out of Macau and obtaining a creative experience on a widening art scene.

Belo Yuan

“Belo Yuan” is a fictional community located in the eastern boundary of Beijing, along the eastern bank of the Chaobai River.  It starts from the Chaobai River Bridge in the south and goes to the Chaolong River in the north. It is adjacent to several emerging real estate projects such as Meilin Bay, Xinghe Yiyue, Meilin New East City, Meilin Jundu and Xinghe 185.  The Chaobai River has a micro-topographic ecological garden design and a wide range of fitness facilities to provide residents with an enjoyable and leisurely community life.

“Belo Yuan” is a two-year art project by two artists coming from two cities (Yanjiao and Macau). In the first stage, Zhang Xinjun, an artist who lives in Yanjiao, and the Macau artist Leong Fei In jointly launched their respective art projects through a local expedition to the Yanjiao area.
