AFA Participates in the Sixth "Affordable Art Fair Hong Kong"

Affordable Art Fair Hong Kong has been held successfully in last week, May 17 to 20. It was an unforgettable experience! This time, AFA has 13 artists participating in the art fair, and they are Cai Guo Jie, Leong Chi Mou, Leong Fei In, Season Lao, Lei Chek On, Sylviye Lei, Noah Ng Fong Chao, Sou Chon Kit, Filipe Miguel dos Dores, Tang Kuok Hou, Tong Chong, Tuzi Ng Lai Seong, and Luna Cheong. Together they have contributed 45 artworks, which contain different media, such as watercolour, printmaking, artist’s book, acrylic, photography mixed media and oil etc. They were showcased at AFA’s booth No. C09. A total of 21 pieces of artworks were sold during the art fair.
 


The 6th Affordable Art Fair Hong Kong

 

It is the fifth time for AFA to participate in Affordable Art Fair Hong Kong. According to our past experience of participating in Hong Kong’s art fairs, we had good responses from the fair visitors and buyers, which has built our reputation in Hong Kong and proved the continuous efforts that AFA made into are worth and rewarding.

We have a wide range of artworks showcased in the fair. Such as Cai Guo Jie’s watercolour paintings of the stylish architectures in Macau; The mix media artworks that focus on the research of Neo-Orientalism by Leong Chi Mou, printmaking works and artist’s book by Leong Fei In, both revealing visual simplicity and strong structurality; the lost paradise photography series by Season Lao, the auratic oil painting by Lei Chek On; The “Sympathetic” series that explores space and light by Sylviye Lei; Noah Ng Fong Chao’s oil work that reflect upon life and the self; Sou Chon Kit’s oil series that expresses his pursuit of freedom; the series of Fine Art Inkjet pigment print by Macau’s newly risen star Filipe Miguel Das Dores; Tank Kuok Hou’s photography series “Symbol” to “look into the possibilities of observation in daily life  based upon the urban architectural landscape.” Tuzi’s carefree documentary of her daily life through copperplate printmaking work series “30”; and Luna Cheong’s drawing artworks that look into intimacy in romantic relationships.
